At Diverse Sound Books, your child's safety is just as important as creating meaningful learning experiences. Every sound book is designed with quality, durability, and child safety in mind.

Our interactive books contain an electronic sound module powered by button-cell batteries housed inside a secure battery compartment. The battery compartment is intended to be accessed only by an adult when batteries need to be replaced.

The batteries used are type AG10. 

Batteries must be replaced when the music stops completely or in the middle of the songs.
 

Reese's Law Compliance

Our sound books are designed to comply with Reese's Law, the U.S. federal safety law that establishes stringent requirements for consumer products containing button-cell and coin batteries. 

 

Adult Supervision​

While our sound books are designed for children, we recommend that young children enjoy them under adult supervision. Adults should periodically inspect the book for signs of damage and ensure the battery compartment remains securely closed.

If the sound module or battery compartment becomes damaged, discontinue use until it can be safely repaired or replaced.
