Hi, I'm Emanna, an independent author and multilingual voiceover artist passionate about bringing stories to life through the power of language.

 

I narrate in English, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, and Haitian Creole, creating immersive listening experiences that help children hear each language spoken with authenticity, warmth, and care. As both the author and the voice behind my books, I believe stories should not only be read—they should be heard, felt, and remembered.

As an indie publisher, I founded Diverse Sound Books with a simple but meaningful mission: to elevate voices that have too often been overlooked. Languages such as Haitian Creole—and many others that have historically been undervalued or marginalized—carry rich histories, cultures, and identities. They deserve to be celebrated, preserved, and passed on to future generations with the same respect afforded to more widely recognized languages.

 

Every book I create is an invitation for children and families to explore the beauty in every voice. Whether a child is hearing their home language reflected in a story or discovering a new one for the first time, my hope is that they feel seen, valued, and inspired.
